Taryn Hill, Attorney At Law

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in government from the University of Texas at Austin, Taryn attended Law School at the University of Houston – graduating in 2005, While attending law school, Taryn worked as a legal intern in the Public Integrity Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation from law school, Taryn passed the Texas Bar Exam and was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney. Taryn’s carreer spanned 6 years in the District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure as a prosecutor, Taryn handled a wide range of cases in the misdemeanor, juvenile and felony trial courts. Taryn’s courtroom experience also included serving as Chief Prosecutor in County Criminal Court where she was responsible for training and supervising other prosecutors. Before entering private practice with the Hill Law Firm, Taryn was responsible for case management in the Intake and Grand Jury Divisions of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Since Entering private practice, Taryn has actively defended individuals charged with criminal offenses throughout the criminal justice system. Taryn was recently selected by the Harris County Criminal Court at Law Judges to serve as a “SOBER Court” ;attorney assisting individuals in their recovery efforts.
